    This book is a work of art. It left me stunned and love struck with each page. It’s easily one of my favorite novels and the progression is perfect. The overall story is a five but the translation from French to English was messy in some parts so that’s why it’s a four. However do not hesitate to read this. You will never forget it.

    Seen the movie but this takes it to a whole other level. This has truly changed my life. I can’t seem to get this movie / book out of my system lol and I’m a straight masculine man. This made me question a few things and experiences and missed opportunities that could of been beautiful. As any good book or movie should.

    The rarest yet most soulful bearing book I’ve read. The way it describes the emotions and such meaningful fragments of human affection and love, has to be an award winning book no doubt. The outlook on love and how the time was back then, how nothing but simplicity of how the true meaning of a feeling lead to a beautiful story has nothing to stand for and yet everything to fall for. Truly a beautiful work of art that has all that it needs to tell a simple and complicated love story.
